Stewed Iron Fruits

Dried fruits nourish lymph, blood, and muscles and act as gentle laxative.

  • Small handful each of of raisins, dates, and or dried figs

  1. Put the fruit in a pan and cover with boiling water and leave to soak overnight.

  2. In the morning slowly cook with a cinnamon stick, a slice of ginger, a star anise or a couple of cardamon pods and simmer slowly for around an hour and eat as a snack ½ hour before breakfast.
